Bayside moving story – Sam and Hazel Almond

4th November 2019

Sam and Hazel were walking past the Michael Jones Worthing office in Chapel Road when images of Bayside Apartments in the window caught their eye. They had been thinking about relocating from their current home in Eastbourne for some time but hadn’t looked anywhere up until this point. Immediately interested, they decided to enquire with the New Homes team at Michael Jones.

After sitting down with Max Harbron, the head of New Homes at Michael Jones, Sam and Hazel decided they wanted to purchase one of the south facing apartments in Bayside Horizon.

Sam said: “What attracted us to Bayside was having direct access to the sea and beach with its mix of sand and colourful pebbles. After meeting with Max we didn’t want to look anywhere else.”

He added: “Our experience dealing with Max and the Michael Jones team has been excellent.”

An avid swimmer and a Gold medal winner in the Swim England national competition in 2018, Sam was particularly impressed by the private heated pool, spa and fitness suite that will be available exclusively to Bayside residents.

Since demolition of the old Aquarena site began in 2017, Bayside Apartments has received a fantastic amount of interest and has now reached over 70% sold, more than a year ahead of the expected completion of the development.

Max commented: “The apartments in both Bayside Vista and Bayside Horizon have been particularly popular for people looking to downsize and begin a new life by the sea. It’s been a joy getting to know Mr and Mrs Almond and helping them choose their perfect new home at Bayside.”

When complete towards the end of next year, Sam and Hazel will be able to enjoy the luxurious lifestyle that Bayside has to offer, which, on top of the pool and fitness suite, will include a brand-new promenade café, landscaped gardens and direct access to the beach and Worthing’s historic promenade.
