Seven exchanges in seven hours!

A record breaking number of exchanges took place on one day at the Goring office of award-winning estate and letting agent, Michael Jones. Last month experienced sales negotiator, Nicky Van Der Hage, set a new record for the firm by single-handedly managing a staggering seven exchanges within seven hours! The sales team, led by partner, Neil Hyde, are celebrating their best month for two years.

Months of negotiations between vendors, buyers and solicitors culminated on September 14th - a date Nicky and her clients will remember for some time. Three separate chains completed during the day, but for one vendor, Mr & Mrs Madden, it really was a race against the clock, as the monies were transferred to their buyer’s solicitor only minutes before the banks closed at 4.30pm due to a computer system failure at the building society. The fraught transaction marked the end to a stressful sale beset by problems.

“Nicky not only went the extra mile – we think she completed a marathon” said Mr & Mrs Madden. “She surmounted all the obstacles that were put before her. If only people could see that there really are excellent estate agents that give such excellent service.
