Record month for exchanges at Michael Jones

Exchanges soared to a three year high last month at the Findon office of award-winning estate and letting agent Michael Jones. Branch manager, Richard Heppenstall and his team are celebrating their best month since June 2006 with contracts exchanged on millions of pounds worth of property. Figures for completions are up by a staggering 133% on the same time last year, providing yet further evidence that the market is recovering.

“We’re seeing the market go from strength to strength” commented Richard Heppenstall. “Not only are we agreeing more sales at all four of our branches throughout Worthing, but they are proceeding faster to exchange of contracts. There are some very serious and proactive buyers around now who are in a strong position to literally get a move on!”

Riding high on this success, the team also recently smashed the firm’s record this year for the most expensive house sold in Worthing. Marketed for £995,000 by Michael Jones, the five bedroom family home with heated swimming pool, set on three-quarters of an acre plot in Offington, attracted a lot of interest following an article on the front page of this paper. It was also on the market with another agent. Michael Jones achieved the sale and it took just two weeks from an offer being accepted to completion!
