Rollover image to enlargeAn exclusive new development in High Salvington has bucked the trend and sold prior to completion. Despite the economic climate, all the houses at Foxley Heights, a development by locally based James Homes, were bought off plan within a few months of coming onto the market. Eager buyers snapped up the individually designed three and four bedroom detached houses marketed by sole agent Michael Jones.
The development attracted a lot of interest from families and retired couples downsizing from larger properties. Richard Heppenstall, Branch Manager of Michael Jones in Findon Valley said: “We had a tremendous response from day one with a steady stream of enquiries right up until we sold the last property. Although none of the houses had been built when we launched Foxley Heights, its superb location in one of the most highly sought after areas locally, combined with James Homes’ excellent reputation, high build specification and attention to detail was enough to persuade buyers looking for a well designed home in a nice environment. The fantastic sales at Foxley Heights demonstrate how quality property, properly priced in a good location will always sell whatever is happening in the market.”
Richard Sullivan, Managing Director of James Homes said: “We are delighted with the success of Foxley Heights. The whole project will have completed and sold within twelve months, which is exceptionally quick. All the local tradesmen and suppliers have been excellent, and we feel this size of property is a much needed requirement for the area. It has been a real pleasure working with Richard, Peter and Rachel from Michael Jones. They excelled themselves in a very difficult market and already have buyers interested in our next development, Foxwarren, in Broadwater.”
Since the launch of Foxley Heights late last year the property market has continued to improve as the economy shows signs of recovery. House prices are rising and vendors who have been waiting to see what is happening are now putting their property up for sale while demand is high.
