Michael Jones Plans Strategic Move in Arun

Award-winning estate and letting agent, Michael Jones, announced plans last week to relocate its sales and lettings business in Littlehampton to Rustington. This announcement coincided with the closure of the company’s office in Littlehampton where the lease has expired. Staff will be operating temporarily from Michael Jones’s head office in Worthing until the new office opens in Rustington in the Spring.

“This move is about repositioning Michael Jones so that we are better located to serve the needs of our clients throughout the area as a whole” explained Littlehampton office Partner, Alan Kentfield. It will also enable us to work much closer with our other four offices in Worthing, which will benefit our vendors, buyers, landlords and tenants, and give them greater access to a wider range of properties and applicants.

"The housing market is showing definite signs of picking up and we want to be in the best position possible both geographically and commercially when it fully recovers. Over the past couple of months we have experienced excellent levels of business in terms of sales agreed and rental activity is still going strong.

“We have really enjoyed being part of the business community and supporting local initiatives in Littlehampton, and are looking forward to moving into our new offices in Rustington and playing an active role there. All our clients have been informed and we have taken great care to ensure that they are being well looked after during this transition.”

Since Michael Jones opened its office in Littlehampton four years ago it has won three awards, including the highly coveted Customer Care Award in 2006 from the Arun Business Partnership, and has been nominated for two national awards recently.

During this period Michael Jones has sponsored the 10K Coastal Run from Rustington to Littlehampton for Chestnut Tree House Children’s Hospice, the Littlehampton Bonfire Night and the Littlehampton Carnival Queen and Princess.

Michael Jones is the most highly acclaimed estate agent in West Sussex and through a series of acquisitions is now the largest, independently owned lettings agent in Worthing.
