Michael Jones completes a chain of five

March eleventh was a special day for five homeowners who completed on their new homes thanks to Michael Jones’ sales and lettings office in Lancing - making it one of the longest chains ever for the award-winning agency.

Not only did four of the vendors sell their properties through Michael Jones – one of the clients was a first time buyer – but all five bought their houses through the local sales team managed by partner, Gary Evans.

Two of the properties were owned by a couple and their parents who were buying a bigger house together, so their sales had to take place simultaneously otherwise they couldn’t move. Another vendor had a deadline to meet from their developer, and with five different solicitors involved the process was never going to be easy.

Mr and Mrs Pain who recently moved with her parents to Ambleside Road, said: “We were originally with another agent but a lot of the properties that were suitable to us were with Michael Jones. It was mum who suggested that we switch to Michael Jones as they seemed really helpful and informative whenever we viewed properties with them. We have been really impressed by Gary and his team.

“Whenever we had any concerns they were always reassuring but it was their personal touch that made the difference. Our relationship with Gary has become almost a friendship to the extent that he even gave us his personal mobile number. It really felt like he was feeling for us, and my parents feel the same way about his personal service. I rate Michael Jones highly and would recommend them without any hesitation.”

The couple’s vendor, Denise Anderson works in a school in Sompting and decided she wanted to use Michael Jones because they had supported the school with prizes for the summer fayres. “I can’t praise them highly enough” commented Denise.

“They were excellent throughout the whole process and although there were several problems Gary went out of his way to sort them out. He even took it upon himself to pick up some papers from the managing agent in Brighton and delivered them to the solicitors in Lancing to save time, as we were all racing to meet a deadline. He held the chain together and kept us informed all the time. I don’t intend to move again in the near future but if I did I would definitely choose Michael Jones.”
