It's official! Michael Jones Residential Lettings is now the largest locally owned agent in the area following the firm's second successful merger this year.  The ARLA accredited agent has recently taken over the Worthing office of Ashcroft & Dean in Montague Street.  Less than six months ago Michael Jones expanded its business by acquiring the lettings arm of Jordan & Cook.

Ashcroft & Dean's lettings operation has transferred to Michael Jones, increasing the number of properties under management by more than 10%.  Staff have relocated to the company's newly refurbished residential and commercial sales and letting office in Chapel Road, Worthing.

At a time when many sales and lettings agencies are suffering from the downturn in the market, Michael Jones is experiencing unprecedented growth.  This latest acquisition means the combined company has more properties under management and staff than any other agent locally.

Mike Jones commented: "We believe that being successful is not about being the biggest but about continually investing in our business to deliver the best service.  Whether this is through acquiring another company, offering a wider range of advice from smarter offices, getting involved in initiatives that support the community or training and developing our staff.  As a well-run company with a good reputation and the same customer-focused philosophy, there were obvious synergies between Ashcroft & Dean and us."

Justin Rodell who was previously employed by Ashcroft & Dean said: "Our clients have welcomed the move as they appreciate the many benefits a larger firm like Michael Jones brings, with its specialist in-house property management and accounts centre, and highly trained team of experienced lettings negotiators.  Not only can we provide an even better service now, but we are able to attract far more tenants through Michael Jones's network of sales and lettings offices throughout the area."
