Award-winning estate, letting and commercial property agent Michael Jones is asking local residents to get moving with them in aid of St Barnabas House.  For the sixth year running the family owned company is sponsoring the hospice’s Family and Junior Fun Run along Worthing Seafront on Sunday 9th May.

The event has become an important date in Michael Jones’s calendar.  Every year Mike Jones and his family, together with staff from the firm’s four offices in Worthing, Goring, Lancing and Findon Valley, show their commitment by taking part in the run.  Michael Jones has placed full page adverts in Property Today to promote the Fun Run and entry forms are available to pick up from their offices.

“We are delighted once again to support this very special and healthy event for St Barnabas, and we will be doing everything we can to assist in making it even bigger and better than ever” commented Mike Jones. Over the past five years Michael Jones has helped to raise more than £130,000 for both St Barnabas and Chestnut Tree House Children’s Hospice.

Michael Jones has also sponsored the DVD on the rebuild of St Barnabas House, which was produced to showcase the development to business leaders and the local community.  On a recent visit to the site, Mike Jones said:  “I was very impressed with the progress of the construction and quality of the build.  The facilities that will be available at the new St Barnabas House are amazing.”

Tanya Leedham from the St Barnabas Events Team said: “We are so grateful to Michael Jones for their continued support.  Their sponsorship helps us raise even more vital funds which go directly towards providing specialist hospice care for our local community.”

The 1km Junior Fun Run starts at 3.15pm outside Worthing Lido and is followed by the Family Fun Run at 4pm.  The 5km course goes along the seafront with the halfway marker at the George V Avenue roundabout, and returns to Worthing Lido to finish.  All runners will receive a medal.  Entry costs just £8 per adult and £4 per child under 12 years if you sign up before the day or £10 and £5 on the day.  Entry forms are available from Michael Jones’s offices or to register and pay online, please visit www.stbh.org.uk, or contact the St Barnabas Events Team on 01903 871817.
