Anna, her husband Michael, their 2 boys and Poppy the 6 year old Jack Russell moved into their new home in May 2014.
Anna says “Initially I wasn’t particularly keen on the house but as soon as I walked in I fell in love with it. We love entertaining and having friends round and this house is perfect for just that.

We moved down from Surrey and I used to be an Estate Agent myself so my expectations of standards were very high and I knew exactly what we needed from an Agency and Michael Jones did not disappoint us in the slightest. We mainly dealt with Richard and Rachel and they were brilliant. Always on time – never any holdups, and professional the whole way through. Richard’s attention to detail is great and as we didn’t know the area we had many questions that she helped us with; her local knowledge of the area is superb.
My favourite thing about our home is the sea view, it’s a long way away but I love it. It’s a lovely family home and we’ll be here until we retire… and when we do and look to downsize, we’ll certainly be using Michael Jones Estate Agents again.
Meet Barbara and Chris…
Barbara and Chris moved from Shoreham to Lancing when they saw the property that would allow Chris to focus on his next development project and Barbara to run a lovely bed and breakfast.
The couple bought Elm Grove Lodge in Lancing as a 3 bedroom and 1 bathroom bungalow and Chris has worked tirelessly over the last couple of years on extending the property to turn it into a 5 bedroom and 5 bathroom bed and breakfast.
Barb said “We found the property on a Sunday, on the Monday morning I called at 9am and we were being shown around the bungalow by 10am the same day by the very helpful Gary.
In fact all of the staff are so helpful, friendly, efficient and trustworthy. I cannot praise them highly enough. When you walk into the office, they stand up to greet you, they remember your name and know exactly who you are. It may seem like a small thing but these are the things that make a big difference.”
Chris adds” The sell of the property was the quickest we have ever experienced and we should know as we’ve moved 6 times in the last 8 years. They even put us in touch with their mortgage guy who was great too.
The Michael Jones team are friendly and professional and you can talk to them! If they say they are going to ring you or email you – they do! They say moving house is meant to be one of the most stressful experiences in life but with Michael Jones Estate Agents it was stress free, trouble free, from start to finish! They gave everything they promised and if anything came up, they just called, the communication was constant – very impressive.”

Meet Nik and Katie…
Nik, his wife Katie and their little boy moved into their new home last Summer.
Their story is long and complicated as both properties were quite unique; the selling of their flat and the buying of a commercial property…
Once Nik and Katie had come across their dream home in central Worthing they knew they had to have it. The trouble was it wasn’t a residential property, it was a commercial property, and being a commercial building means you can’t live in it.
Katie explains “the building was previously run as a solicitors firm and was very run down but we saw great potential in it. We wanted an old Victorian building; an ideal family home to live in and work from. Michael Jones really helped with the negotiations, guiding us through the minefield of buying and turning the property into a residential building so we were able to buy and live in it. We came across many complications and challenges with this process but they were all handled professionally and expertly by the Michael Jones team. The staff would just think on their feet and calmly advise us on what to do next.”
Nik adds “Michael Jones Estate Agents did such a great job with helping us buy, we decided to ask them to sell our flat and again they just excelled themselves. Joe Bailey from Michael Jones has been brilliant! He looked at our flat and then advised us on the suitable market of potential buyers and appropriate marketing that would be used to sell it. It was all tailored to suit the property’s needs and ours. The flat had a ‘designery’ feel and we all agreed, it had a ‘Brighton’ appeal so that is the market we went for. It took no time at all for the interest to come rolling in. We had an open day and had 2 offers above the asking price by the end of the day. Amazing!
