Fourth Year Running for Fun Run

People are being encouraged once again to get moving and raise thousands of pounds for St Barnabas House by leading estate and letting agent, Michael Jones and Company.  For the fourth year running the family owned company is sponsoring the hospice’s Fun Run, which takes place on Sunday 11th May.  It is not too late to sign up and you can even enter on the day.

The sponsorship is part of a long-standing commitment to St Barnabas and Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice.  Over the past four years Michael Jones and Company have supported a number of fundraising activities for the hospices and helped to raise more than £110,000.

This year Michael Jones and Company are running a competition for entrants and spectators at the Fun Run to guess how many balloons can fit into one of their minis which will be parked on the foreshore.  Cash prizes are up for grabs for the winner and two runners up.  All proceeds will be donated to St Barnabas.

The Fun Run starts at 4pm outside Worthing Lido.  The 5km course goes along the seafront with the halfway marker at the George V Avenue roundabout, and returns to Worthing Lido to finish.  All runners will receive a medal.  Entry costs just £8 per adult and £4 per child under 12 years if you sign up before the day or £10 and £5 on the day.  To register and pay online, please visit www.stbh.org.uk or contact the Events Team on 01903 871817.
